Back in October, work colleagues and I went for a stroll on the Walkway Over the Hudson. I quickly fell behind as they admired the magnificent view of the valley. I found myself distracted by visual aspects of the surface of the Walkway itself and started taking photographs of the accidental abstractions formed by intersections, patches, and cracks. Here's one of them, which will be included in the upcoming Photoworks 2017 that opens at Barrett Art Center on January 21, 2017.
